KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Description
Clinical
· Provide high quality expert physiotherapy clinical care, acting independently to asses, plan, treat and progress patient care across the areas of substance use and behavioural disorders, mental health, lifestyle modification and chronic pain.
· Flexibly manage a varied caseload of both inpatients and outpatients.
· Work as part of a team to ensure effective communication and delivery of care.
Educational
·
Deliver
physiotherapy and physical health/wellbeing in-service development within the
scope of your practice.
·
Support
the development and implementation of Naufar service improvement.
·
Assist
in the teaching of other multidisciplinary team members, clinical and
non-clinical staff, and
others in order to promote knowledge and use
of physiotherapy to enhance patient care.
Generic

·
Maintain
good working relationships with your team members and all other departments.
·
Ensure
that you read the organization’s Employee Handbook and have an understanding
and adhere to all Naufar Policies & Procedures rules and regulations and in
particular those relating to Health and Safety.

To
be responsive to any changes in the department as required by your line
management.

Maintain
licensing requirements with QCHP while employed by Naufar in this role

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Professional/Academic
Qualifications:
·
A
Degree in BSc Physiotherapy in an accredited Physiotherapy Programme.
·
Licensed
as a physiotherapist in home country.
·
Up-to
date CPD in relevant areas.
·
Postgraduate
qualification in a relevant subject area.
Experience:
·
Minimum
of 3 years physiotherapy experience is required for QCHP licensing.
·
Multidisciplinary
experience in a range of clinical fields, which may include mental health,
neurology, cardiopulmonary, medical and musculoskeletal.
·
Previous
Specialist experience in one or more of the following: mental health,
neurology, cardiopulmonary or chronic pain
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
·
Supporting
Service Development.
·
Supporting
Research Development.
·
Advanced
inpatient and outpatient clinical skills (assessment and treatment).
·
Excellent
communication skills both written and verbal.
·
Knowledge
of clinical mental health and psychiatric fields.
·
Up-to-date
research sills.
·
Provide
monthly activity report to direct supervisor.
·
Excellent
interpersonal skills.
·
Ability
to work well as part of a team.
·
Ability
to work well as part of a team.
·
Arabic
Speaking.
·
Arabic
reading and writing.
·
Proficient
knowledge and skill base in one or more team sports.
·
Treat
all Patient as VIPs.
